I finished the Rowan Tapestry moebius - thank god! another yarn I will never have to knit with again! - and gave it to my sister for Christmas. The "not very adult at all" (in which I have to include myself) members of the family shared some joyous moments watching my mother trying to straighten it out, before explaining that the twist was deliberate.
I have now started on the Nantucket jacket from Interweave Knits in the Lang Silk Dream I bought at Ally Pally (and using my new Boyes! - I have wanted a set of these for well over 20 years, and they are gorgeous!) - oh, and the yarn's knitting up really beautifully as well... I have made a small adjustment to the pattern to allow for the fact that I am a not so standard english pear shape, as well as being short-waisted - and it's all working out pretty well so far (hooray! go me!)
Happy New Year to you all! - I'm off to watch the final ever 'Vicar of Dibley' in which our heroine (rather improbably!) lands the gorgeous Richard Armitage, and hoping for a really really stupid final joke to chuckle my way into the New Year with.

Glad I am not the only one who finds Tapestry a pain to knit. I love making moebius scarfs/shawls and seeing how using different patterns show up and see the look on folks faces who have never see one before:) Just seen your pattern at the side so must try out that one also .Yet another thing we have in common at the moment ; I am waiting for a set of Boyes needles I bought off E-bay . So glad you like them as I couldn't make up my mind between them and the Denise set
