I love it when things work properly! - have just finished a little top (for which I'm currently writing out the pattern to go on the web-site) in Twilley's Freedom Spirit DK. Sales for the Ten Minute Rose pattern have been going surprisingly well, so I hope it's a good omen for the new pattern, which includes a number of little techniques that I'm really rather pleased with - tubular cast on / cast off, and 'crochet and steek' openings at armholes and neck - though I have to confess that I nearly caused a woman on the train to faint the other day, when she saw me attacking the WIP with a pair of scissors ...!. Below is a photo showing a bit of the top from the wrong side, so you can see (and admire!) the neatly finished steeks, and tubular cast off ...
Despite all my good intentions about getting the Christmas knitting done in good time, looks like I have the usual last minute rush to get some scarves finished, so guess what I'm going to be doing till all hours this week ...? Have started knitting up the skinny scarves for Holly & Emily in the Tilli Tomas Disco Lights, they're just going to be simple lacy knits in k1*, (yo, k2 together) to last stitch, k1, do the same thing every row pattern, and James will be getting a hat/scarf set, possibly in prime rib.
Apart from that I have a couple of new stitch-marker designs in Tibetan silver, and some polymer clay buttons on the web-site - last posting date for First Class in the UK is 19th December - oh drat, that reminds me that I have to write out some Christmas cards as well ... When I grow up, I'm going to be an organised person!

I hope for your sake that you never grow up, it doesn't sound like as much fun.
The pattern looks great from what you've shown. I still need to steek something but have seriously chickened out.
The stitchmarkers are very pretty.
